Protective equipment consists of garments placed to protect the health care workers or any other persons to get infected. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is specialized clothing or equipment worn by an employee for protection against infectious materials.
These usually consist of standard precautions: Nitrile Gloves, 3 Ply Face Mask, and Gown with Shoe cover (coveralls).
And for blood or airborne high infections like COVID 19, it will include: Face protection or face shield, goggles, facemask, gloves, gown or coverall, and headcover.
